LA Splash Studio Shine Waterproof Lip Lustre // The August Review

These are more liquid lipsticks that I brought last Christmas as a little treat to myself and with all these brands bringing out their own I kind of neglected them. Around the time I purchased these there were so many pictures over Instagram as a few colours were produced after Harry Potter and Disney Characters. I of course purchase two - Aurora and Dutchess which are a lovely pink/plum and shimmery red colour.

The product description says:
"Fairy tales do come true with  fairy dusted waterproof StudioShine Lip Lustre. Specially formulated for a unique metallic matte finish on the lips."
 Shade: Aurora
Shade: Dutchess

Pros:
- This doesn't budge when drinking.
- It doesn't budge when eating lightly or with utensils - I once had a burger and it wore on the inside of the lip but it wasn't overly noticeable.
- At just under £10 each they are a good price for the longevity of the product.
- Amazing colour range and they're really pigmented.
- You only need a light layer.
- Waterproof.
- A brilliant angled doe foot applicator which for me makes upper lip application a lot easier!

Cons:
- A little drying in comparison to other brands.

These seriously do not budge throughout the day, with heavier evening meals you can see wear but they're perfect for work or evenings out where you've already eaten. The only downside to these is that they are so hard to get hold of, especially the Harry Potter ones.

Have you tried the LA Splash Lip Lustres? or Have you tried any of the other lip products from LA Splash Cosmetics?

Thanks for reading!
