Sleek Eyeshadow Palette // The August Review

Sleek is one of those brands that gets great reviews on their palettes off other Bloggers and YouTuber's which is why I gave in and ordered the Au Naturel eyeshadow palette. I chose this palette in particular because I wanted warm tones and all the shadows are mineral based which gives a lovely natural payoff.

From left to right, top to bottom the shadows are called: Nougat, Nubuck, Cappuccino, Honeycomb, Toast, Taupe, Conker, Moss, Bark, Mineral Earth, Regal and Noir.

The product description says:
"Sleek Makeup's legendary i-Divine eyeshadow palettes are 12 shades of super-pigmented, long-lasting, mineral based eyeshadow, designed to suit all. Each i-Divine eyeshadow palette contains pearlescent shades, which contain mica particles that highlight and illuminate giving an overall radiant effect. Available in a variety of colour ways, your i-Divine is waiting for you.

Au Naturel is an array of matte and shimmery eye shadows providing a subtle yet contoured effect for day, that can be built up for a gorgeous evening smoky effect using the velvety browns and shimmering fawns."

Pros:
-Fantastic size, yet compact and sturdy, you'll get a lot of use out of it.
-The colours are very pigmented especially the shimmer ones like Conker.

Con's:
-It doesn't have an as long lasting wear as other eye shadows I've used, I would suggest a primer before application to help and prevent fallout of the shimmer shades.

I mainly create day looks with this palette and 100% recommend it to those getting into makeup. With the colours I do think it suits darker eye colours more as say for blue eyes, most of the tones on this palette will look too harsh. Sleek have and Eye and Cheek Palette called All Day Soiree that I would suggest for lighter eye colours.

Thanks for reading!
